La Costa health club reopens
The 24 Hour Fitness La Costa Club has reopened and will offer a hybrid experience combining group fitness classes, world-class equipment, one-on-one in-person training and a variety of virtual fitness options. The 40,000-square-foot, two-story club includes amenities such as GX24 and cycling studios; Zumba, BodyPump and POP Pilates workouts; and rows of cardio and weight machines, as well as free weights for all fitness levels. Grants available to help with employment
Grants are available from the Escondido Community Foundation to support organizations that provide the workforce development resources necessary for the economic growth of Escondido. In the 2022-2023 grant cycle, the foundation, affiliated with the San Diego Foundation, invites local organizations to submit a letter of intent specifically for projects at Escondido. The foundation engages in programs that provide resources for job preparation, matchmaking, internships, job training, advancement opportunities, and technology education. These projects should be achievable within 12 months and have long-term sustainability prospects. The San Diego County Credit Union and the San Diego County Library System host financial wellness Wednesday presentations on a variety of topics aimed at improving financial health. Regional Connect Networking Event Package
The North San Diego Business Chamber is having its first Regional Connect networking event of the year at 4 p.m. Wednesday on the outdoor patio of The Grille at Maderas Golf Club, 17750 Old Coach Road in Poway. The tax credit program opens applications
The California Competes Tax Credit is a disposable income tax credit for businesses wishing to relocate to California or stay and expand in California. Businesses in any industry, size, or location can claim more than $ 180 million in tax credits during one or more claim periods each year. For the 2021-2022 fiscal year, GO-Biz will accept applications until January 24 and March 7 to 28. Prior to each application period, GO-Biz hosts online webinars about the program. Room combines mixer, wellness expo
The Poway Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to a health and wellness exhibit starting at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 27 at the Poway Unified School District office, 15250 Avenue of Science, San Diego. This event combines the Monthly Blender with the Health Exhibit so guests can meet local vendors, learn helpful tips, win prizes and more. Healthcare and wellness providers interested in a provider space can register through the registration link. Members of the chamber can exhibit for $ 25, non-members for $ 75 (if you join the chamber afterwards, $ 50 will be used to cover your registration fee.) One table will be provided per exhibitor.
