HURON — Amy Busch, chief operating officer of the Dakotaland Federal Credit Union, recently expanded member service operations at the Huron main office.
The position of vice president of member services was filled by an internal candidate, Drew Weinreis.
“Drew’s passion for serving our members drives him to be an ideal leader. His guidance and training will ensure that our Member Services staff will continue to provide the best possible experience for our members,” Busch commented.
Weinreis began his career at the credit union 10 years ago. His first position was at Huron North Branch as a Cashier/MSR.
Later, he accepted a position as a full-time member service representative at the main branch. As staff and membership continued to grow, Drew was appointed Member Services Development Specialist and took on the role of training and developing new MSR staff at all 12 Dakotaland locations. “In my new role, I look forward to continuing to grow and evolve our member service,” said Weinreis.
Drew is very active in the local community and remains connected as an Ambassador for the Huron Chamber since 2013. Weinreis currently serves as the City of Huron Commissioner. In his spare time, Drew enjoys travelling, camping and spending time with family and friends.
