Maui County Federal Credit Union partners with The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program to help keiki and kÅ«puna in need in Maui. From November 15 to December 11, 2021, individuals can pick up Angel Tree tags at any of its branches in Kahului, Lahaina, and Wailuku, purchase the requested gifts, and then return them to the same branch with the tag.

Angel Tree Tags can be picked up and gifts dropped off at FCU Maui County branches during business hours. Branches are located at 270 Dairy Road in Maui Marketplace in Kahului, 270 Lahainaluna Road in Lahaina, and 1888 Wili Pā Loop in Wailuku. Monetary donations for The Salvation Army are also accepted at any FCU branch in Maui County and are 100% tax deductible.

“We are thrilled to be able to partner with The Salvation Army to bring the joy of Christmas to children and seniors in Maui in need. We hope to share aloha and bring happiness to families on Maui because everyone deserves to experience the joy of unwrapping a gift this Christmas, ”said Maui County FCU President / CEO Gary Fukuroku.

“We are grateful to the Maui County Federal Credit Union and their members for supporting those in need on Maui for the fifth year in a row,” said Captain Steven Howard, Corps Officer and Maui County Coordinator for the Salvation Army. “Especially as the second year of the pandemic approaches, these Christmas gifts will help bring magic to children and the elderly and relieve stress for their families during the holiday season.”

Families in need of assistance can contact Salvation Army Family Services in Kahului at 808-871-6270 and in Lahaina at 808-661-5335. For more information, visit maui.salvationarmy.org.
