As part of an annual tradition honoring educators, another Cy-Fair ISD staff member has been selected as the winner of the Cy-Fair FCU giveaway. Barbara Ramirez of Birkes Elementary was chosen as this year’s winner, selected from a group of 90 “Spotlight winners.” The winners were chosen by the directors of Cy-Fair ISD for their dedication to students and their work ethic, details the press release.

Ramirez was selected at the Salute to the Stars gala on April 12.

“This car is just a gesture of our gratitude to the incredible educators who selflessly serve our local Cy-Fair children,” Dickey said.

Ramirez was chosen by Staci Everson, principal of Birkes Elementary. Principals can nominate teachers, paraeducators, and other support staff for the car giveaway. Participants are selected at the Gala Salute to the Stars.
